My daughter is in the 2nd grade and she has to do a report, flag, paperdoll dressed in the countrys tradional garb etc.. Well, I traced out ancestors and found they came from Liverpool, England. The question is why did they come? I have no idea. Dont people come to America with the hopes of a better life? I'm not trying to offend anyone, I just dont know the answer. Can someone help me? And why is the teacher giving my 8 year old a project she cant understand so I have to do it. Thanks in advance. And please no smart mouth answers.
