I see stuff for the sequences like car loans and paychecks, but are there any examples of everyday uses out of these two things?

everyday examples---
SEQUENCES/SERIES
you work "h" hours per day for "d" days a week for "w" and get paid "s" per hour for
your gross income = h X d X w X s
of that you pay "t" taxes & "r" retirement
you save "a", spend "b" on food & "c" on car.... get the idea?

How long do you ahve to work to pay for your house each week? or your daycare?

EXAMPLE TWO
hot dogs come 10 to a pack... buns come 8.... how many packs of each do you ahve to get to have no left overs?

GEOMETRICAL:
which is shorter west so many miles, then north so many
OR
diagonal?

By real life I'd think you would mean every day thing(simple uses). One sequence I use a lot is 3,4, and 5 as used in the Pythagorean Theorem, I and many other use this simple formula to find a square (or 90 degree right angle) in building houses and other things. If you want to square angle for a wall use the 3,4,5, combination or equal multiplies like 6,8,10 or 9,12, 15. Measure one wall 6 feet, the other 8 feet and using 10 as the hypotenuse you can come up with a squared two walls. Other real life arithmetic can be used when tuning a piano and listening to the beats of the sound wave the strings are plucked and tuning to zero beats. I hope this is what you were wanting!
