I'm thinking of sending Gift Certificate to a family of 4 to dine out in Kelona over the Christmas Season. The Children are 6 and 8 and I wont them to be able to "dress up in their best" for a special meal but enjoy the meal too! I was there last summer and they were so good to me that I'd like to send them a special 'thank you".

Any ideas would be appreciated?

I live in the States and I never heard of it before. I guess it just sounds weird to me. I do live in a country where people put chili and cheese on their fries.
Are there any other different things to put on fries besides ketchup?

Who founded Canada, what year? Language and dress? religion?
Music, art, education, food? ways of making a living? Government? Standards of living? Quality of life? services? Literacy, birth rate (population), death rate?
These are real questions and I need real answers. I already used the search engines: Google, Yahoo!, Ask.com, and a few others, but no luck so far....
Help and real answers only!!!! I know that this is not food, but it DID say "Canada".

I understand that the cheque is used as a gauge. Presumably, the more the bill is, the more work the server did bringing it to the table. Why can’t I just leave a $2.00, $5.00 or $10.00 tip and be done with it?

My cousin loves canoeing, camping etc. She is getting married next summer and wants to get married in a venue that reflects her interests. She found a great place up north near parry sound but they wouldn't do weddings in the summer. Unfortunately, she needs to get married in either july or august as she is a teacher. Anyone have a suggestion?

My husband and I love the Keg. Our favorite one is in Toronto. Its reportedly haunted. Its the old Massey Mansion that the Keg bought, very charming. Also the Keg Manor in Ottawa is grand.
