A drivers license, passport, or state ID or liquor license. Some places require a second ID, especially if using something other than a DL. A second ID can usually be anything, even without a picture, like a credit card, etc.

If you have a driver's license, that's best. If not, your motor vehicle department probably issues state ID cards similar to the driver's license. California does, and I have one. I can't cash a check or do anything like buy liquor (well, it's a long time since I've been carded, but you are presumably young enough) without either a driver's license or an ID in California. In fact, I think you also have to show ID to buy cigarettes and other tobacco products.

A driver's license, a state issued picture ID or a student ID from college might work. Anything that's legally issued to you that has your picture and age.'

Drivers license/learning permit always works. If you don't have one of those you can go and get a provincial card (Canada) with your picture on it just stating your age, and address. It is basically like a drivers license but doesn't give you the right to drive legally, it just says that you live in that province. International students are able to get these too.
