Yes I did mean when the weather is hot outside.
I am asking because I don't eat anything when it is hot.

When the food is hot or the weather? (I'll assume the latter.)

I like pasta salad, melon/fruit, ice sweet tea (always). Something light if I have to be active. On the other hand, if I'm home and just relaxing, it's nice to grill out. The traditional steak and veggies or something different like grilled salmon or tuna steak.

I hate to cook when it's hot out, unless we are grilling out, so I would have to say sandwiches. Turkey, ham, bologna, whatever kind of lunch meat, maybe some cheese with crispy lettuce and tomatoes and mayonnaise. Sometimes I will drag out the crockpot and make some beef stew or a roast. And occasionally on Sundays, I will make a big pot of chili.

Do you mean when the food is hot, or the weather? If it is the weather I like cantelope with chicken salad and sweet iced tea or ice water. If you mean the food, I like Thai.

I think the best BEST thing to eat when it's hot are tomato and cucumber sandwiches. Cold and refreshing, and they taste soooo good! Whole wheat bread, miracle whip, *thinly* sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. The cold crispness of the cucumber just makes it feel like summer.

Mozzarella cheese with tomato, cucumber and egg, lightly sprinkled with black pepper, salt, a drizzle of olive oil and lime or lemon juice.

To drink: ayran (natural yoghurt diluted 50/50 with ice-cold water if I'm working or a glass of rosé (or two) if I'm not.

This sounds like a Southern question! Everything is so air conditioned now, it is moot most of the time.

But, shaved ice is a cool snack! Ice cream, smoothies, etc.
