I'm guilty of the same thing, but maybe for a different reason.
I LOVE to eat! A good meal,to me,is one of the finer things in life.
It's not that I don't like to try new foods, but fewer things are as disappointing than anticipating a good meal and then being let down. That's why I order the same thing alot.I know I'm gonna get a good meal!
But that can get boring after a while,so I switch up from time to time. Most times I'm not disappointed, but every now and then I get something that just plain sucks! That's when I order something I know is good the next time I go out.

I definetly would try something new. I try not to order the same thing, I like to experience different things so I:ll know where to go dine and where not to go. Everything may not be so good there, but this way, you'll know not to order it again. Then when them taste buds go crazy over something you really enjoyed, then go back and get it again. Sometimes what you ate the first time is not so good the next, but that's the chance you take eating out.

It depends on the restaurant. If I have tried other things and didn't like them then I will go back to something I know tastes good. However, if they have brought out a new menu I'll try some of the new items just so that I have expanded my taste buds.

Most of the time I order the same, but usually the third time I'll order something different. I don't know why I do it that way. Guess I'm just in a rut.

If I really enjoy a certain dish, I look forward to ordering it most every time I go to that restaurant. It doesent hurt to try something different occasionally, but if you have a favorite, dish like I do, I usually order it!

I order the same thing, the reason being it isn't usually something that I make for myself at home.
