I'm going to buy my husband either an Xbox 360 or a PS3 for his birthday in June. I can't decide which. For the most part we like RPG's and he likes sports games (Madden, NCAA, etc.) and we don't mind waiting for games. My main concern is glitches. I haven't heard many negative things about PS3, but I know it hasn't been out that long. I have heard tons of bad stuff about the 360 (overheating, etc.) Any suggestions?

I have a 360 with the hard drive. I need to return my unit because I get constant disc read errors.

How can I back up my games from the hard drive without buying a proprietary memory card?

I am connected to the network if that helps.

I understand that i can't use the usb ports to connect my thumbdrive either.

Well hello there, I remember playing this one pc game a long time ago maybe in 1999 or 2002 or something it was called "Gramma-rama" that was the name butm I'm not sure if I'm spelling it correctly. The game let you solve english problems and you had to be good at it in order to advance, you basically pretty much were a starting director and the people you worked for you had to solve english problems, you also had a bonus level where you give the directors donuts, glazed donuts, krullers, etc.. I also remember that when you finally got the end of the game you got to make your own video like with cartoony characters and you can make them say stuff and move... and then you could watch what you made. But, I don't know where I can find this game I looked on google and came up with nothing, can you help me find this game please?

The game involved a house in which the character would go from room to room and search for items to help him on his quest. In certain parts of the game there were levels where you would use the items found to defeat enemies. Some of the items included a helmet, boots, and a vest. After completing the level you would return to the house to look for more items. At some part of the game you are outside and other parts you are in the basement. You and punch holes in the walls and take items, open doors to other rooms and eventually find portals or something like that that take you to the levels mentioned above. I can't remember the name but I know that it is not maniac mansion or fun house. If anyone can help me I would definately appreciate it.

I tried few. SNES9x TYL is rather slow. if you can recommend me a Decently fast,one that works As fast as GpSP (gba emulator i strongly recommend its very fast) then that would help... Thanks

If XBox 360 can play dvd movie, Why microsoft is selling additional dvd player for about $200.

It looks like, the final price for complete set XBox comes to 600. (399 mail console with 20GB Hard Drive + 199 for DVD Player), while Sony PS3 is about 699 for Blue Ray Disc Player built in, better graphic card and processor + 60 GB Hard Drive...Don't you think Microsoft should reduce XBox360 price at least 200 bucks?

I just bought madden 07 last night and im going to buy sonic 2day as soon as gamestop puts them on the shelf which should be in the next 4 hours the guy said...i do have enough to buy another game but not sure what i should get...i was gonna get nba 07 or nfs carbon but something is telling me they are just good games to rent and there might be a better game to buy but what? Keep in mind i dont even have the PS3 yet and im already stoked about it enough to get a game selection going on for it when i get it this weekend

I have recently bought an xbox 360 and purchased a VGA plug as my tv doesnt have a component socket, and only a DVi unfortunately I am getting black borders on the left and right side of the screen the top and bottom are fine, my TV can output 1080i not 1080p so I use the setting below the 1080p setting as all the others look terrible quality, my zoom functions are disabled whilst in DVi mode so I cant stretch the image that way is there any other way around this? Also when I have connected the component to a VGA using an adapter the 1080i image is awful and looks like your watching it at 480 and creates some bad interference I have tried other cables etc but still the image wont fill the screen it would be a shame to sacrafice such a sharp image for a poorer one as Im buying a HDDVD player and want the best quality is this down to xbox to update their firmware to add 1080i via VGA?
