Will a playstation bought in the UK work in South Africa and play their games? (I know power is different)?

It will work 100% and the games / DVDs are the same region.

The only thing you will need is an adapter to be able to plug into the different shape wall socket.

The actual power is the same so you do not need a power converter.

yes it should work perfectly. because no matter what is the power available in homes there must be compatible with the console. it is a standard range.
