I heard modern cell phones transmission pulses to the towers are encrypted and are only temporary ID's on a forum called halfbakery. Is that true? If I had a device that wanted to know the cell phone's permanent ID's, would I need the cellular company's cooperation with the devices?

Alright so I have the white chocolate (http://www.t3.co.uk/__data/assets/fp_auto_layout_image/572622/varieties/4.jpg) and my friend has a chocolate (http://www.t3.co.uk/__data/assets/fp_auto_layout_image/564435/varieties/4.jpg). She's saying mine is fake because it looks different from hers. I know for a fact it's not fake. You can easily tell when its in your hand. Am I right? Why does her's look different? I moved to an area that doesn’t have service, and it’s driving me crazy! I talked with T-Mobile and they said I should be picking up Comnet or something like that...but for some reason I’m not and there’s “not much they can do about it”. It’s extremely frustrating, and I would love it if there was some way for me to get service. If so, how?

I got the SLVR to have a different phone than other people. That's why I didn't get a RAZR, because EVERYONE HAS ONE. But I've been looking at the RAZR v3x lately and it has a lot of cool features and it's looks nice too.

The problem is that I live in California and I don't think you can get it in the US. I searched on the Motorola US site and it didn't show up. But I did find it in the UK and other places.

How do I get one? Would it work with Cingular (what I have now)?

Also, I'd like to know how the music player is on it. Can you view your pics or send texts and w/e while listening to your music like you can on the SLVR's iTunes?

The only thing I hate about the SLVR's iTunes player is the 100 song limit, I can add more with the phone's own media player, but then I can't look at my pics and stuff.

Any help would be really appreciated.

do cell phones have tracking devices installed in them? i have a t-mobile motorolla v3 razer cell fone, its lost, i checked my billing charges no1se using it. is there any way i can track my cell phone. im kinda cerious if a girl who came over to my house *she takes things* and took it. i had my cell when she came but when it was time for to leave i couldnt find it. but i wasnt toooooooo sure if t-mobile cells have a tracking device in them.
