Although there is not a definite fix for this problem (which by the way, I dropped mine in once too) BUT our Technology Department shared with us this information. Maybe it will help...

Hopefully you recovered it quickly! Take off the back and remove the battery IMMEDIATELY. Try running a hair dryer over the battery and the parts to the phone. Keep it all separated over night to make sure it's all dry.

They also suggested the oven--lowest setting possible.

Reassemble it in the am....

GOOD LUCK!

Yes, try to dry the cellphone out. Take the battery out and shake the unit until you get rid of most of the water from it. Then find a fan and have the fan blow on it for a day or two straight. If everything looks dry and the LCD screen is not cloudy and does not have any moisture on it, then put the battery back in and try it.

If it doesnt work anymore, go to eBay and try to buy an "unlocked" replacement for you cellphone. Your SIM card should still work in another phone without a problem.

Remove the cover etc, and dry it gently with lint, then leave it to dry out a couple of day in a warm area. It should be okay. I don't think it would be a wise thing to put it in the oven for the fact that noone should attempt to do something they are in doubt about.

I read once that if you take out the battery and put it in the oven on the lowest temperature, it'll dry it out.

Maybe a myth, but worth a shot. Take the battery out though!

I did the same once and mine would not work again. It looks like you have done what I did. It is no good now.
