Cell Phones & Plans - January 2007

Just a couple of days ago I was trying to send pictures to my friends like the usual and when I hit send it would never load, it always says sending in progress. Any when my friend sent me a picture, that wouldn't load either. The only option it would give me was "details". I can send text messages just fine, it's just the pics that aren't getting through. I have a verizon motorola...don't know the rest. Anyway, why is this happenning all of a sudden? Is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks for helping:)

I tried to buy true ringtones 4 my Nokia6010 and Cingular is my carrier and when i tried to buy it,it said,"Sorry,your phone does not support this type of content."What does that mean!?!??!!?Does it mean my phone can not use true tones,only polophynic?!?!?!?!?!HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!:}}

I thought i heard some where that it is law that all cell phones must work for every service provider but it must be "unlocked" or something first. So instead of me purchasing a new service plan with a new phone; I would like to keep my current phone but just add a new service to it. Is that possible?
