funny icon on my o2 k800i?

ive just noticed a funny icon on my o2 k800i next to the signal strenth at the top, it looks like a a rain drop in a pool of water, only saw it today & dont know how to get rid of it or what it means
any one got an answer please

This is the symbol for the O2 3G service. With this service you can video call and download data at faster speeds (typically 384kbps). You cannot get rid of this symbol unless you move into an area without an O2 3G service. O2 most likely has recently upgraded their services in your area to support 3G, and that's why you are able to see this symbol right now.
