Hi,
The easiest way I have found to put files on a phone (including ringtones, wallpapers screensavers etc) is using Create Ringtone. You send files to your mobile phone by Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) or using Bluetooth infrared or wired connection. It has a 15 day trial (I am not associated with this software). It is alot easier than using cables.

Usually Ringtones or anyform of media that can be sent from a reliable connection. The ideal use is with a bluetooth computer that sends pictures, songs, vids, and ringtones, along with allowing you to edit contacts from your desktop... but that is ideal.

Depends on your phone's software. You should be able to transfer photos, songs, ring tones, calendar, address book, etc.
