I have both myspace and friendster account. I am curious to find out how some people are able to customise their design and layout. Some of them looked really nice! Can someone advice me how they do it? Or can someone introduce me some good designers that can do it?

I bought a domain name and am almost ready to put up my own web site. I need someplace to host that will:

1. Be super, super cheap.
2. Allow me to use Google Adsense (I doubt I'll make any real money, but why not try?)
3. I need only about 10 megs of space forthe whole site.
4. No idea how much bandwidth I need. (What do you recommend.... I'd like to dream think my site will get busy, but I'm sure it'll be slow at first.)
5. Easy to upload my pages with ftp program on my mac.
6. Tech support (phone) is a major plus.

Any recommendations? I don't have a lot of money and don't want to be ripped off. Thank you.

Im wondering why there are so many people on answers trying to figure out website design instead of just hiring someone to do the work. Not all designers are excpencive. Also there are people who have hired someone for hosting and registered but are having problems with those companies so why do they stay?
They should look around there are many places that do a good job and dont charge much such as www.designandhostinghelp.com. So why dont people just hire someone is my main question i guess.

Every time I ask for help, I get "Go to....." without saying where to find in there what I'm searching for, even the software I'm using says, "Cannot install this hardware: An error occurred during the installation of the device:
The driver cannot be installed because it is either not digitally singed (it doesn't explain the what is or the how to) or not signed in the appropriate matter. Contact your hardware vender." And how do I know who/what that is and how to find out. All I want to do is install my winDVD, so I can copy some vids to DVD.

I send photographs into the PS, then I struggle to understand the instructions. It says one thing, I try it and doesn't even remotely come close to what I think it says. I just want to be able to cut out
the person/animal from my picture and add it to another picture.
It says to draw around what you want to save, then (again, I don't understand) move it to your destined picture. Yeah, so easy. I don't think so!

OK, so i wanted to write C++ on OSX. Someone told me to install Xcode, so I did. I opened it up, opened up a new C++ file, and typed a simple program from a tutorial. However, I can't compile it! The menu option for compile is grayed out (in fact all of the build tools are). Why can't I compile it?

Sorry, I have never programmed before (i have only done web design and XML; and a one-week crash course in computer class on C programming). In computer class we had a program (Borlan C or something) where we typed in our code, pressed compile, and ran the programs. That is the extent of my knowledge. Why won't Xcode let me do that, and how do I get it to let me?!?

I'm a very fast learner and can catch on quickly. I pick things up far more quickly than the average person, especially when it comes to skill-based tasks like this. I'm good with computers but on a programming level, I don't have much experience, although I have worked with frontpage before (even though I know that's basic). I'm not talking about having the ability to build mom and top type website - I'm talking about busy, professionally done sites.

Can this be learned in a matter of months? Years?

Can some one make me a regular expression that matches this type of string "test,test,test,test," where there is a word then a comma, then another word and a comma, and so on. But if the string is not setup EXCATLY like that it will not match at all (that means a part of it can't match, it has to be all or nothing).
