Every time I ask for help, I get "Go to....." without saying where to find in there what I'm searching for, even the software I'm using says, "Cannot install this hardware: An error occurred during the installation of the device:
The driver cannot be installed because it is either not digitally singed (it doesn't explain the what is or the how to) or not signed in the appropriate matter. Contact your hardware vender." And how do I know who/what that is and how to find out. All I want to do is install my winDVD, so I can copy some vids to DVD.
Can someone pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?

My apologies to those who answer; I have no idea what any of this is.

The way it works is that Vendors (like your DVD people) get approved by Microsoft as a vendor and will sign the software.

Many times, if it's not digitally signed, it doens't mean you can't install it. It just means that Microsoft didn't approve it (probably because the vendor didn't pay microsoft money). It doesn't mean it won't work. I have lots of software that is not digitally signed but works fine.

If the software came with your DVD, just install it anyway - (next, next, whatever) and it will most likely be fine.

There must be an determination someplace there to circulate forward and setting up the driving force in any case. circulate forward and try this. maximum drivers have a digital signature so no corrupt drivers get put in. I particularly have in no way heard of all individuals setting up a bad driving force. The producer of the driving force you're applying have been in simple terms too lazy or unwell equipped to have created a digital signature and released their driving force with out ending it acceptable.
