is $14.95 per month a permanent price for dsl. can i use dsl right away when we first pay for it? or do i have to wait for installation? please give as much info. as you can. if you have dsl, tell me about you provider thank you

As far as I know it is just the lie. 64-bit calculations are faster only for large numbers, more than 2148000000. And most people don't need such numbers. Let's don't let Microsoft tell us a lie.

I have a Toshiba laptop and 2 wireless routers, one Westell Versalink 327W and the other Belkin. My signal strength is great but my status says 'limited or no connectivity'. I was notified by some customer service guy that I have to download firmware from Toshiba's website in order to connect to the wireless internet. Does anyone know where I can download this software? I already searched toshiba.com and nothing. Appreciate it.

I'm having problems with my pc, my Windows XP came fully installed on my computer when I brought it, so I have no way to update and re-install supposed missing files. Is there a free version avaliable on the net or something that I can use to repair these files as I have no idea what I'm doing manually?

I have been cleaning up my computer and feel I have been very successful, start up is a lot faster BUT now I get this System Configuration Utility message and I don't know if I messed anything up or not. Everything seems to be running fine though. This is the message:

The system configuration utility is currently in Diagnostic or Selective start up mode, causing this message to be displayed and the utility to run everytime Windows starts.

Choose the normal start up mode on the general tab to start Windows normally and undo the changes you made using system configuration utility.

And then it says OK to click.

Did I mess something up real bad?

when i insert a disk into burner and run it then push eject disk// i get a screen that says to go to start// run// scdsk/f it wont work either anybody know what happened or how to repair it// i also ran acrodonis disk repair // no help there plz step by step im kind of computer dummy thx god bless

Hey i need help. i have had this problem for a long time. ive installed some video games on my computer in the last 4 years so ive gotten bord of them when i go to controlpanal/install and remove programs when i select the game i want unstall it says a certain file is missing so there for i cant get rid of it. im just asking if theres ways i can remove the game that it wont let me completely. when I look at my library files on Limewire it shows how many "hits" I've had on the tracks in there, but it never shows anything as being downloaded by other users. I have put my music files to "share" and have put each individual folder to "share".
I was wondering why it doesn't show that people are downloading.
Please be gentle, I am a novice.

I noticed as it was defraging it said moving files well the files were all the music on my windows media player my kids and man would have a heart malfunction if something happened to there music so now I am afraid to do it. So after defraging will the music files still be in the media player. And can i defrag while online or should i wait until defragging is done?
