I know I have a virus
I want to wipe my C drive clean
I tried doing it with the windows XP CD
all it did was to place a second copy of Windows on my drive

The second copy is badly infected
I cannot use ,un-install or reinstall Internet Explorer nor Mazilla Firefox


When I boot I can choose which copy of Windows XP I want

to load

If I choose the first copy it never boots it tries over and over again

The second copy boots and loads but it has some sort of virus
I went to command prompt and typed "Format"

It cannot format because the drive will not un mount

It tried to unmount the drive but no luck.

I attempted to close every process possible

I tried many things including right click on my computer
Nothing happens it does not recognize any more than one partition

Someone said that I may have the wrong version of DOS

Question:
Is there a freeware utility I can use to finaly format my drive

so that I can reinstall Windows XP ?

I just tried to google that, and most of the sites I clicked on want me to pay. This shouldn't even be legal. We shouldn't have to PAY to see if our next door neighbor is a sex offender. The Megan's law site and a couple other that WERE free didn't have pictures for most of them.

Where is there a good and up to date site that doesn't make you pay?

Here's the problem: When I try to connect to the internet on my user side it says: This connection has limited or no connectivity. You might not be able to access the Internet. To fix this problem click the box.
I clicked on the box and it said this: This problem occurred because the network did not assign a network address to the computer. So I clicked repair and a box popped up with the heading: Repair Wireless Network Connection
I waited and it popped up with this: Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed - renewing your IP address
Can anyone advise me(walk me through)of how to fix this problem so that I can access the Internet from my user side?

I don't know what one of my MySpace friends doing. They denied my comments, woudn't message me back and post comments at my page. As I did last time during this year, I removed both security guy from The Jerry Springer Show , Tony Buoniconti who's a real estate agent and the Springer Show stage manager, Todd Schultz to ban them which is to block a user means to delete them from my friend list. I love dumping bad MySpace friends as a real lesson. Perhaps that'll teach them the lesson for pissing me off.

I'm trying to finish up a powerpoint for my technology course on euthanasia, and I want to wrap it up with this really emotional video I found on youtube, but all I seem to be able to do is type in the URL without it becoming a link. If the program is trying to show quoted text why don't they insert quotation marks which is less inconvenient if you want to copy and paste the text elsewhere. Presumably someone thought it was a good idea for some reason....

I was using Google maps at school today and i tried to access the street view feature in San Francisco but the computers at school didn't have Flash player and i couldn't install it because the school computers dont let you install things.

Now i'm at home, where my PC has Flash but when i go to google maps, it does not give me the button to activat street view. All there is, is Map, Satellite and Hybrid.

How do i activate Street View??
