Well, this happened to me lots of times and what I did was I reboot the computer and then I kept on renewing the IP address by clicking on the Repair button. If it doesn't work, you have to refresh the available wireless connections in your area and then try connecting to that wireless network. This should fix your problem. It does not solve the problem just by doing this once, you have to keep on doing this. I don't know why, but that's how it is.

Check to make sure that you are connected to whatever you get your network connection through. Make sure that if it is an external modem of some sort that you have some indicator lights on it. Next, try to reboot your computer. If that doesn't get it, then power down your modem, router or anything else that would be between the internet and your computer. Wait about 15 seconds and plug them back in. Now reboot your computer one more time. Try to hit a couple of sites. "Yea" if it worked...."Boooo" if it didn't. You may need to replace your modem or router.
Good Luck
BTW, how did you submit this question?

Wireless. The End. Let's see if it still dare say that on a cable. lol.
But srsly, I don't know what it should look like if you go to:
cmd -> ipconfig /all
But once it's been fixed, remember what it says for when something goes wrong.
Is your DHCP On? You can see that if you fire of the command ipconfig /all. Anyways; that assigns IP addresses so possibly that's off. If your wireless reception is just bad, then it's that.

First things first. Reboot, reboot, reboot (only reboot once). This is a simple fix that many forget about. If this does not do it, try unplugging your router; if you are using wireless connection. If neither work and/or you are using a land line based internet connection, plugged in, call your provider.

Firstly in Internet explorer check TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS > CONNECTIONS > click on NEVER DIAL A CONNECTION and then click on LAN SETTINGS click on AUTOMATICALLY DETECT SETTINGS
Also you need to type in the network key to get full access to the network - click on the icon in the systray that refers to wireless networking open it up, check it is connecting to the correct network and type in the network key

Your router or modem is not assigning an IP address to your computer, Try cycling the power, on that equipment( turn off then back on) and try again.
