My computer has a built in CD Burner, I have heard you have to go onto a particular website to download music. Is this true? And if so, does anyone know what the website is? This is driving me crazy!

ok well I can get on my main page and some other things such as yahoo and google, but its taking avile to load yahoo answeres, youtube, and things such like that.. and my comp is much faster... Its not even loading the main page of youtube

I cleared the cashe and romoved temp. internet files, and the stuff... what ele could it be?
Im running spybot now.. ill put the results below when its done.

you know when people call you trying to get your ATM pin number and stuff like that, what is there to do? I mean would the police do anything?? they even got my e-mail address and they have a website, how does somebody get a website and don't get caught? wow that's a lot of questions I'm sorry I'm just frustrated I mean I know how someone might get someone's info they buy it but then they go and rip people off and it never ends... Maybe a website I can go to to report these people? THANKS

I was wondering if someone could give me a good LEGAL music downloading site. Don't mention Limewire because it is not legal. I would like napster but I think their song formats only come in WMA format. If possible I would like the songs to be in MP3 format although I am not putting them on an IPOD. I only want to download the songs onto my computer. I wwould like something that you can pay monthly for unlimited songs. I think itunes makes you pay per song or album but not totally sure. If anyone could help that would be great.

First, i thought it might have been a virus because I'm a frequent downloader. And my wife opened a suspicious program the same day it started to mess up. So, I ran the 3 different types of virus scan I had (about 2-3 each). It took out alot of viruses. I tried browsing but no luck.

Then I spent about 2 hrs on the phone with my internet provider trying diff things(ip address change, safe mode) and basically they told me that they didn't know what was wrong.

The sites that work is blackboard(college site), nfl forum site, and water.com.

Sites that dont work is yahoo(Im on a campus comp), google, espn basically everything else.

I dont know what to do any suggestions?
