I've used Googles free accelerator and it's ok but I want something faster for my DSL connection.

Here's good info on accelerators: With the software type, pages do load faster, but it's just "smoke and mirrors". Most grab all the pages for each link on a page and "prefetches" them. So, since pages are pre-loading behind the scenes, it gives the illusion of a faster internet connection

Most, if not all of these programs are like P**ing in the ocean.
You might notice a slight increase in speed with Firefox and its Faster Fox plugin. Besides - Firefox stuff is free.

Add Fasterfox extension for Firefox (of course, you'll need to use Firefox!)
