My company has blocked instant messenger off of my computer, and I know it's bad of me, or whatever...but I need to get around that! For months I've been corresponding via msn messenger with a long distance friend who I secretly love, and it's one of our main sources of keeping in touch, and just when we were starting conversations about coming to visit him very soon, the IT department blocks my messenger!!!! Noooooooo! I'm seriously sad. Is there a way around it? Please help!

when i was typing in all caps...
and it became highlighted in red,
and it said...
"Please do not use ALL CAPS. It's rude."

does anyone know if www.freewebs.com/homebasedwork/ is a scam or not? i have 2 children and would like to work from home without joining a membership and paying an arm and a leg to sign up, and this website doesnt seem to have any fees or hidden costs.
Or does anyone know of a free site that offers people to work from home w/out having to pay hundreds of dollars to start?

When I play videos on "websites" such as youtube or myspace etc., they run choppy. When I play any videos on windows media player, they run "perfectly fine". Can someone help me?

How do you hide a picture within another picture? There use to be where the picture looks normal, but when you highlight it on a webpage, like by doing ctrl+a then it shows up, I was wondering how to do something like this.

I have a computer running Windows XP that will no longer load any internet pages. On firefox it says the server can't be found and on IE it says that the page can't be displayed. It's connected to the internet via a router but the network connection is working fine and refreshing it just to be sure does nothing. I've run a handful of spyware programs but none of them have helped, restarting the computer did nothing too.

This problem literally happened overnight, I went to sleep and the computer was fine (and left running). In the morning when I went to use it I was faced with this problem.

I am writing this on another computer on the same network so I can safely confirm that it is not the ISP or the router.
