well i am deaf myself, and i would much rather be deaf than blind! i have lots of blind friend including both deaf and blind..however blind people will probably prefer being blind to deaf. i find blind people seem to depend on people more to help them get about,where as my deafness has never stopped me going out or doing things independantly. obviously i have to look out for things more but i could still manage a walk to the shops..blind people would need some sort of assistance. to be honest both of them suck big time, but i much rather deaf to blind

Each has its own disadvantages. Blindness, you obviously can't see anything, and Deafness, you can't hear anything. But they also have the same advantages. If you blind one sense, the others become stronger. If you ask me, I'd rather be deaf, that way I can read in peace.

I'd say blind. I would like to see everything. My sister is deaf and she very independent (driving, traveling, lives alone etc.). A blind person can be will have to depend on someone at all times.

Blind would be worse. My aunty and uncle are both deaf and they get along in life fine most of the time.

Blind without a doubt ,sometimes to be deaf would be a godsend in my house.

I'd have to say deaf... not hearing the love of my life's voice would kill me... you can always feel things to figure out what they must look like

both would suck so much *** but i would prefer to be deaf than blind, so i could still use the pc

blind !!!! i would think you would have a better standard of life being deaf rather than blind !!! either way life is not fair !!

i say blind i mean NOT seeing anything tht suxs but there is alot of technoligys out there for the deaf not the blind

deaf i'd rather see all those beautiful things in life then be kept in the darkness forever
