Internet - February 2007

My internet connection is working, I can view other websites, but when I type in myspace.com, my computer acts as if Myspace wouldn't exist.

Why isn't it working?

look here it is, I try to go to myspace.com and here's what it says:
The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

Please try the following:

Click the Refresh button, or try again later.

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

To check your connection settings, click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Connections tab, click Settings. The settings should match those provided by your local area network (LAN) administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).
See if your Internet connection settings are being detected. You can set Microsoft Windows to examine your network and automatically discover network connection settings (if your network administrator has enabled this setting).
Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options.
On the Connections tab, click LAN Settings.
Select Automatically detect settings, and then click OK.
Some sites require 128-bit connection security. Click the Help menu and then click About Internet Explorer to determine what strength security you have installed.
If you are trying to reach a secure site, make sure your Security settings can support it. Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section and check settings for SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, PCT 1.0.
Click the Back button to try another link.

I have tried everyway I can think of to get onto myspace...and my computer actually all the computers in my house wont go to the site at all! WTF why does myspace always have so many freakin problems!!

how do you download songs on to a CD without having to pay for anything? i've tryed everything

what i'm tryin to do is find songs online and then put them on a CD well is there a certian place to do this at?

These are the things that i have tried. I have disabled my firewall because of the internet carrier. It has nothing to do with the server. i can directly download that gives me the option to save but all the ones that download on their programs. Ex: updates on adobe, updates of quicken, patches for games. that sort of thing. i have opened all he ports on my computer, i have disabled the firewall, i have upgraded internet explorer to #7 Help!!!!!!!!!!

I keep getting a message from IE that says navigation to site has been cancelled, I've tried EVERYTHING and can't seem to be able to get onto myspace, I can get onto everything else but NOT myspace! HELP!!!

My connection is good online, but when I pop uo internet explorer it automatically freezes for days now. I cant even open up my internet options either to try to look at the problem. I am on my laptop now. This is the problem on my regular pc. I can't even go to delete cookies if that was the problem. My internet options will not let me in and also my internet exlplorer will pop up but freezes. Please help, what else can I do ?

The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

What's up with that?
