I have been trying to get on the myspace homepage so i can log in and view my profile! I do this everyday and never encounter any problems! My Internet is fine and can access all other websites, just not mypsace! Is anyone else having this problem too???

i've been having this problem too, the error message i get is this:
'Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
* This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.'
so i tried my Seamonkey browser instead (i don't have IE explorer, i'm running Ubuntu Linux as an OS)
Seamonkey says:
'Redirect Loop
Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked
The browser has stopped trying to retrieve the requested item. The site is redirecting the request in a way that will never complete.
* Have you disabled or blocked cookies required by this site?
* NOTE: If accepting the site's cookies does not resolve the problem, it is likely a server configuration issue and not your computer.'
i've heard that myspace is suffering some virulent hacking right now. i cleared out my cache and cookies, but to no avail.
i am only able to login by using a web proxy:
http://unipeak.com/
from that address i enter into the box provided:
http://myspace.com
and click go!
then i'm able to login to my myspace account and see that it's been slaughtered. i'm unable to post a blog or change my password at this time, but i AM in, and i can post text to my front page.
so, try the unipeak web proxy and if you get in at all, try to change your password to something really solid.

Yea ive been having a lot of problems with this, and ive used all types of proxys and stuff. Like I use firefox and when i clear my cookies I can see the main page, but then after i try to log into it all it tells me that the page is redirecting some odd way, so i dont know myspace is messed up.

yup, but dont worry its the server too many people have been trying to log in at the same time! its not anyones computer or anything, its just myspace!

Yes.
I'm told that I need to 'log in' time and time again, even though I've given the correct user name and password.
I even had the password confirmed by e-mail but I still can't get access to the site.
It's really annoying.

I am having the same problem. Deleted cookies, temp files, did a system restore twice, check blocked website, security level and nothing. try using proxyrat.com in the mean time. At least you can check your email.

there has been a problem all day.i can log in sometimes,then other times i cant.i have noticed none of my friends have been on and that was unusaul so it must be a problem.i know they were working on it last night cause the messages weren't working,so i don't know,
