Internet - November 2006

However , I don't trust all the sites she goes to ( spec. Myspace)
She recently got busted for uploading a photo of herself wearing
a very revealing bikini. I went to another computer she used and
about 40 pop-ups came on the screen and they were all nude
women and other junk. So, I want to get her another computer,
all hers, but which I can maintain some degree of control. I really
don't want to be a snoop but you moms and dads know what I'm
talking about. I guess what I'm saying is that I want to trust her but
at the same time, I don't trust her. Any ideas? I heard about a
program called "Keystroke". Is that a solution? Her getting on
Myspace is not the problem - it's what she's saying to who and
who is saying what to her. Thanks in advance.

I just logged into my email and everything is in a smaller font size,,,it was always larger,,,how can I change this,,I need it in larger print,,all of my email are smaller,,,very hard on my eyes

Why is broadband described as an "always on" connection? I'm on broadband, and every time I come off the internet I always switch off the little box that connects me, so it's hardly "always on" is it?

Everytime I open bearshare and either search or start downloading something it makes my internet so slow its unusable. Even if i set the little bar to 0% my internet speed does not return, even when I close bearshare my internet speed does not return. File transfers are insanely slow, and any downloads I do take hours. I am using windows xp proffessional with service pack 3, my computer is networked and when this occurs the other computer looses internet as well. Even restarting my computer doesn't help, I often have to reset the router. I have tried reinstalling, and even tried using shareaza instead, but the same problem. please help

A friend in Europe wants to watch the shows on abc.com and nbc.com. But now her computer is blocked. Is there any way around this. A simple and free solution. I looked into hiding an ip address but it is so complicated. Is this even a solution? Anyone know how to view thses shows like studio 60/ugly betty in Europe (greece) over the internet?

ibm.00003.exe this is what im trying to restore. the reason i want to restore it is because i get a pop up saying the file cannot be found.im not a big computer wiz. restoring it is the only thing that i figure will stop the pop up error. I have AIM on my desktop, but for that last week or so when I click sign in it says "Verifying name and password" but dosen't go any further into signing in than that. What's wrong??? How do I log in???? Can't live without AIM, any answers would be great! Thanks!

Okay, I've seen alot of them like cash crate, treasure trooper and other ones like that, but some of those surveys just want you to complete offers, and you need a credit card (which I don't have). But I just wanted to know if they really work and they do pay you or if you just take survey after survey and they make you go in circles of "free" offers and stuff and if its all just a bunch of BS, because I really do want a little extra spending money and I cant really work until Feb. when I turn 16.

i use the BearShare ,,, but there is some trouble 2 get signed in for this prog.
they have told me that in the Report Email

My bestfriend says she gets on the internet all the time but her dad took away there instant messager so she can't talk to me!! Her brother is my boyfriend and i really just want to talk to him but i need to figure out if there is a way for me to contact them on the internet besides instanat messenger and email.
