When is a car technically an antique? I see cars with antique plates and I can tell they are old but when is the earliest you can request an antique car tag?

Plugs, rotor and distributor cap are new. Coil was tested and reading the right voltage. It's getting gas flow.

I own a 1997 Saturn SL, its runs fine, it gets me around town well. but I've gone far away to college, and i want to go home,get my car and bring it down to Alabama. sense it is an old car what are some things I should do to give my car the best chance of making it on the six our drive. What major things should I check or change, how fast should i drive on the interstate, should take periodical breaks,? oil use, etc. . .??? thanks

It was probably back in the early 90's I saw infomercials about this stuff you bought that came in colors to match your vehicle that covered scratches. The guy would even set fire to the hood of the car and it didn't hurt the finish. He was out in a junk yard and did a bunch of cars there. Does anyone recall what the name of the stuff was and is it no longer available because it wasn't worth a crap?

Everyone seems to aspire to car ownership, despite the fact that you can often be stuck for ages in traffic jams. Public transport appears to be stigmatised and just for those who can't afford a car. It is far more environmentally friendly and - in many cities - quicker.

What do you think about taking the bus/metro/tram?
