It varies by each state but generally its 25 years for antique plates.
On a slightly different note AACA would tell you that no car made after WWII is an antique...milesstone or vintage but antique is generally reserved for 75 year old vehicles.

in the UK they are only classed as historical if they were built and registered before the 1st of January 1973, then they can get free road tax, if that what U mean
