What do you need to do to get a CDL license in N.C.?

i went to a driving school in N.C you are gonna need your current drivers license and a birth certificate or if you dont have a current ldrivers license you can use your SSN card but take all 3 if you have them any way some of them are weird about what they have to have and you are gonna need a truck to take your road test in if you are getting a class B CDL then uses a box truck with a GVW over 26,001lbs and if you are getting a class A CDL use a Tractor with a trailer van or flatbed . and you are gonna need to take the writen tests combo vehicle , air brakes , and what ever endorsments you are gonna get . and study the hell out of air brakes its hard if you dont know any thing
