I know that a Vespa can be purchased at a motorcycle dealer. The cost can range from as little as $1,000.00 to $6,000.00 and start to top out in cost at around $8,000.00 However local traffic laws in your county/state may require a motorcycle endorsement on the regular car license, before they will allow you to buy/drive a Vespa. As such check your state's driving laws before you buy and good luck.

It depends what part of the kick-start is broken, the model and the year of the vespa. Cheapest would be around 30 quid for parts, and you can do it yourself in an hour. Most expensive is 200 quid for the whole assembly(ultra rarely needed, usually only in a crash) and the motor would need to be removed. Maybe 500 for the whole replacement. So what is the problem with it? I can tell you whats wrong but I need more info. ---------------------------------------... UPDATE So if its just the kick arm that connect to the shaft(which goes into the engine), then its only 1 bolt removal and you can get the part in my sources. Its a very easy repair. its a little dirty but if you sand blast it, then it will look like new.
