Do commercial airline pilots get to go home every night. Or do they have to stay in other cities for a while before returning home? Thanks!

Some people have told me it is actually a shorter route, others have told me that the routes are controlled this way to keep planes from being too far away from land if an emergency were to occur. Anybody know?

I realize the lack of a tailhook would be an issue, but if it was an STOL plane flown by an experienced pilot wouldn't it be possible?

The POH states that the normal range is 100-240 degrees F, that the max is 240 F, but no minimum is noted.

Contrasted with the oil pressure green arc which is 30-60 psi, a max of 100 psi, and a min of 10 psi.

Thanks kindly.

My Cessna 150 POH sometimes brings this up, like "CAR part 3".

In Canada, there are the CARS, Canadian Aviation Regulations, but this looks like a different thing.

Thank you.

Followed by an obviously powerful white propeller plane fly probably around 1000 feet directly over your head during a smoke break at work? Then while leaving work see another white plane covered with radar devices pass by less than 1/2 mile from the first plane, flying at nearly the same altitude? I have.

When a plane is at the end of a run way and is about to take off you see th pilot set the flap to the required degree. My question is when the plane gets to take of speed and the pilot pulls on the yoke do the flaps extended further if not what actually makes the plane lift up.
