I'm going there from Boston for Thanksgiving but don't know much about Cali. Flights are pretty expensive so I'm hoping Jetblue will be cheaper. It says the cities in Cali that it stops in are:
Burbank
Oakland
Ontario
Long Beach
Sacremento
San Diego
San Jose

Thanks!

I love to travel, and have taken flights quite a bit. but every time i get major anxiety and panic. it's almost as if i don't put my whole weight on the plane so it won't crash!! i know it's absurd, but i don't know what else to do. every time there's a little bit of turbulence, i panick.
in my mind i think like this "if the plane is flying through the air, then there should be no "bumps"". but when it is bumpy, i panic.

thanks for your advice everyone.

Should the controller have recognized and communicated that yesterday's accident aircraft was on the wrong runway?

These are the questions asked in the pilots license examination by the DGCA in India. You may explain with any example

These pilots had there heads crammed straight up their buttocks. There is absolutely no excuse for taking off on the wrong runway on an instrument departure and any IFR pilot would have multiple cues about the runway their taking off on is the wrong one. Two pilots couldn't figure this out.

Comair is one of the lowest paying regionals out there. For all you non-pilots out there, "Did you know that your commuter co-pilot is sometimes making 19K per year? Do you really want a guy flying a jet that makes two grand north of the federal poverty line. What happens is the pool of pilots taking this type of job is "dumbed down". I mean these pilots are there because their families have money to support them. Compentency has nothing to do with flying for the commuters. It is about money! I hope this scam is exsposed that these commuters have a bunch of spoiled rich incompetent nincompoops flying their planes because they're rich! Comair, skywest, horizon, et al YOU MAKE ME SICK!!!!!

I've recently been looking into becoming a pilot just as a hobby. I've always been fasinated when I go on a plane, but sometimes get a little nervous during take off, landing, and turbulence. Will this fear transfer over and affect my performance when I actually fly myself? Also, is it not unreasonable to be flying at 17 (I know its legal, but is sort of young I guess) I don't know anyone else who is a pilot my age. Anyways, thanks to anyone who can answer my questions!

Has an aircraft ever safely touched down onto the water, rather than cartwheeled, sunk and killed everyone? Basically, has it ever happened like it says on the safety card?
