By saying Jumbo Jet, I assume you mean, the biggest. That would be the Airbus A380.

Airbus A380 Passenger 560 metric tonnes or 1.235 million pounds

Airbus A380F Freighter 590 metric tonnes or 1.3 million pounds

These are maximum takeoff weights that include maximum fuel of 81,890 gallons.

The current 747's (the 747-400) takeoff weight is around 413 tonnes. The future version's (747-8) will be around 435 tonnes.

Depends on many variables such as the weather, runway length, temp, humidity, runway gradient, the condition of the aircraft, how much load is on board.

If you just want the Max permissable legal takeoff weight for an "average Jumbo" a ball park figure would be around 230,000 kg.

I don't think it's a matter of weight. If the power is there then there can be no limit to the weight. A plane can weigh thousands of tons and still take off if enough thrust is applied.

Well, I reckon that if you empty the swimming pool and get rid of all those casess of suet, it's still pretty darned heavy.

You usually get this info in the in flight magazine they give you, try the websites it depends how big the jumbo is in the first place.
