is more than my bens, i can still sign on but i won't get any jobseekers allowance. i am on 5.40 an hour and i roughly do 15 hours a week, the job goes to one day a week next week and i said that cos of this if i am not receiving my bens as well i'll have to give the job up, i can't afford to live off a low income. my parents charge me £70 a month for rent. i have been told by my boss that £5.40 an hour on 15 hours a week is £21.75 plus bonus, the jobcentre recons that i earnt £81 for the first two weeks and their taking £5 of this and then they said their going to take me pound for pound, i am not sure what that means. i have to go and ask for my payslip now as well, cos that has the hours i've done and the amount i've earnt on it. they didn't seem to grasp that i am going to be earning about £21.75 a week plus bonus next week, bonus on top will take my weekely wage upto about £26 - £40 a week on one day a week. see what i mean my bens are more than my wage or else they will be soon.

Many Americans pay Federal taxes every year. I do as part of my "Fair Share" into the system. I've read of the people in New Hampshire, and many Ex-IRS agents are starting to come forward and claiming that Fed Taxes are illegal and unconstitutional for the "in-country" citizen. They claim that it was never ratified or written into law. Some jurors in tax evasion cases were threatened by the FEDs to rule in their favor or they would face some type of backlash. These people are not evading anything...their jurors in a court case. One group offered anyone 50,000dollars for anyone to prove that the income tax was legal, and enforceable. It's been several years and no one has been able to claim the money. In all cases in court you would think that the court would allow the tax code as written to be used as evidence in the case. I've learned through the"freedom of information act"that in ALL cases that the court would not allow it to be looked at or even admitted into court. What's up people?

I am in the process of forming a non profit in NC. Since I was able to view completed Articles of Inc. on the NC Secretary of State site I was wondering if there is a website where I could view the paperwork (1023, 990, etc) involved in the 501(c)3 process.

I am interested in viewing completed applications. Assuming that a tax-exempt organization is open to scrutiny, because of its status, I would think that one would be able to view these forms in their entirety, as opposed to instructions and blank forms provided by irs.gov.

Past incorrect answers have been:

Form 990
www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f990.pdf
instructions
www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i990-ez.pdf

See Application for Exemption
www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1023.pdf

explanation of requirements:

IRS Publication 557 ""Tax Exempt Status for Your Organization"
www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p557.pdf

These are blank not completed forms.

A few years ago, in order to save on inheritance taxes, my wife and I had an attorney prepare two Q-TIP Trusts. All of our assets belong to the trusts. Now I have been told that you have to be a U.S. citizen to be elegible for a trust. My wife is not a U.S. citizen. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

I am on F-1 visa. For the year 2006, I worked for 3 different employer and all of them withheld SS & medicare tax in error. On the advice of IRS representative (on phone), I filled out 3 different 843 & 8316 forms. This was because, there's only one line for EIN on form 843. I did the application in March.

Now, when I checked the status of application by calling IRS account department, they are saying that they didn't receive any application and advised me to resubmite it. And she advised me to fill out only one 843 and 8316 form, just put any one EIN in the box, write total amount of claim in line 2 for amount to be refunded or abated and in explaination part give explaination about 3 employers, amount witheld by each employer and EINs.

Could you please advice me, how should I fill form 843 and 8316, I mean do I need to fill only one form or 3 different forms?

Thanks in advance,
Varun

When seeking employment and the employer quotes a salary of $35,000 for example, is that quote before all applicable taxes? So, would $35,000 @ 20% tax rate, give or take, actually be a $28,000 salary?

Hi everyone,

Ok, I've been watching my niece typically 5 days a week all year. I drive to my brother's house to do this. He pays me for this and I plan on claiming the earnings on my tax return, especially since he's claiming what he pays me for the child care credit on his return.

I've kept very careful track of my earnings, mileage, tolls, and maintenance on my car all year.

I was wondering if there's any type of calculator or formula I could use to determine approximately how much in taxes I'm going to have to pay. I know I'll have to file a schedule C in January. But here's what I'd really like to know - if the year ended today, how much would I owe? It's more curiosity than anything.

Thanks!

again, my husband screwed up on last years W4 form. I am changing it now so we hopefully will break even and not owe anything. I am checking the box for married but withhold at a higher single rate. If I chose 5 allowances, does that mean they are going to keep even more money from his weekly checks? Please explain this to me!!!
