I am currently bidding on two similar items and have a feeling that I may win one or both of them. I really don't want to win both because I can't pay for the two, only one. I would like to know how to cancel my bid for item B if I happen to win item A.

I recently bought a notebook for 10 cents at a large box retailer for 10 cents how can that even be possible. I can not think of many other things i can buy for ten cents. How could paper be that cheap?

I apid cash for some items that were fake and I verified they were, am I able to get my cash back from the person? It was a cash only transaction and I picked up items, paid and left. Then found out they were fake. Am I safe at all?

I'm doing an essay on the change from UK GAAP to IFRS and was wondering if anyone had any info on this regarding intangible assets and goodwill? As far as I can see, both standards are the same and its really annoying me that I cant find any differences. If anyone's got company examples, that'd really help.

i lost my memory card a few months ago so i bought a new one about two weeks ago. just yesterday, i found my lost memory card. so i decided to return the new one but then the package is opened. i put it back best i could by tape-ing it and the memory card's working fine like brand new. i have the receipt but it's 1 - 2 days past the deadline for returning. do you think this is in saleable condition? if you were a staples cashier, would you give me a refund on this?

I want to pierce my ears but I work at a job where im not sure if it would be acceptable....When i first started working at my job i had my lip ring(and still have it) but anyways i had it and my boss said that i was not allowed to wear it... so for a couple weeks i wore a clear ring so that it was less noticable but after a while I just started wearing my regular lip ring and they have not said anything about it since ive started. I have now been working here around 8 months and I am always being rewarded for being a really hard worker... Am i pushing my luck to ask my boss to get peircings in my ears????
