Just wondering why most products are priced xx.99? 9.99? 29.99? Even computers that are 1499.99? People say, a product priced at 9.99 rather than 10 dollars seems a lot cheaper to consumers than just a penny but I disagree it just seems like a penny less. What is the logic to this and/or why is it used?

the question refers back to yesterdays. i decided against giving her a poem, thought it was too personal, don't like the idea of giving her a present. me and this girl, haven't even spoke for four months, what does that tell you, what are my chances of her liking me anymore, like the way she used too. she's not working this week, that is why is haven't given her anything what can i do. i don't know where she lives, i've only know her two years and i know she's always liked me

There are so many short term loans advertised now for the Xmas period, using marketing and advertising tricks along the way that would have made Geobbels very envious; they are praying on those that need the money the most by generating unnecessary need and selling lies to them...

Here in England, very respectable loan companies, Tesco for example, are offering 'fantastic deals' in the newspapers that work out at an APR of 22600% !!

How can such a well regulated industry be allowed to do this?

It is simply a new form of greed and predation and ironically could be considered the very antithesis of the Christmas creed of selfless giving...

I bet the finance industry has a very merry Christmas, at what cost for the poor fools that feel they need industrys help

I just graduated 1 year. Applied to UBS but failed after doing the numerical test.
I still would like to work in an investment bank, in equities or wealth management. I'm planning to take an Masters course to better my chances. I have a 2nd "A" Bachelors' degree in Arts (BA). May I ask:

1) Does MFin / Msc in Finance / M Financial Engineering require you to be very good at maths? (I'm analytical , but not that numerical)
2) Which of the three would you recommend for a person like me?
3) Which school for MFin / Msc in Finance / M Financial Engineering , is renowned and accepted by the i-banking industry?

thanks a lot.

I've had some bad experiences recently with Ebay and frankly I'm getting a little tired of this. I purchased a hooded sweatshirt and paid with the "buy it now" option on the 8th. It is now the 18th and all I've gotten is a tracking number (last week) but the item has not been shipped yet. I have contacted the seller TWICE stating that I need this delivered before Christmas and if they can't provide, then give me the refund. No response. None whatsoever. I'm losing patience as it's nearly impossible to find a BOSTON RED SOX hoodie in CHICAGO this time of year.

How long would you give the seller before filing a claim? I'd rather have the product than my money back, but if it's not going to get here this week it does me no good! Thanks for any advice.
