I've had some bad experiences recently with Ebay and frankly I'm getting a little tired of this. I purchased a hooded sweatshirt and paid with the "buy it now" option on the 8th. It is now the 18th and all I've gotten is a tracking number (last week) but the item has not been shipped yet. I have contacted the seller TWICE stating that I need this delivered before Christmas and if they can't provide, then give me the refund. No response. None whatsoever. I'm losing patience as it's nearly impossible to find a BOSTON RED SOX hoodie in CHICAGO this time of year.

How long would you give the seller before filing a claim? I'd rather have the product than my money back, but if it's not going to get here this week it does me no good! Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did pay with PayPal (always do, for protection). I just wanted to make sure I wasn't jumping the gun, because I've contacted the seller twice already and it's been 11 days now since I paid for it. This person had thousands of positive feedback, it's really hard to imagine I'd have such a bad experience. Must be some pretty patient people out there...

This has happened to me on eBay too. I wait 2 weeks. If I don't receive the item by then, I email the seller. If I get no response in 2 days, I report them. It is advisable to always pay with PayPal as you have proof of payment with them and they offer coverage for lost or unsent packages. Good luck!
A good way to check out a seller is to ask them a question about the item before you bid. If they respond soon and give you a thorough answer, they are probably safe. Always check feedback. Actually read their feedback, don't just look at the number. I don't buy if there are several bad feedbacks that the item was received late.

The post office tracking numbers are not like UPS tracking numbers. A package going by regular mail is not scanned when the postman picks it up. A lot of times the only scan is the delivery scan. That tracking number is really only good to prove that the package arrived at its destination. Or it can let you know if the package has gone the wrong way and is being sent back.

Not sure why they haven't responded. Did you send your question through the "My Messages" section? Regular e-mail can get mis-sent.

Good luck!

Does the broking have a monitoring huge style from united statesor the submit place of work exhibiting that you received it? i do not imagine ebay supplies its clientele any type of refund at the same time as some thing is going incorrect. they'd cancel a broking or clientele account, yet thats about it.

Contact the administration at Ebay i guess. I have never shopped on ebay or sold anything on Ebay so i am not sure exactly how this would go.
