I am currently living outside the UK but I would love to trade in the UK FTSE (and other UK) stock market. Please can somebody tell me the steps to follow in making this a reality?

Also, kindly let me know the obstacles to expect and how to overcome them before I can achieve my goal.

Thanks a lot.
Expecting your reply.

Where should I open my roth IRA account. Fidelity charges $75 for transactions fee funds. They have a lot of non-transaction fees funds ($0 fees). Etrade and scottrade has very few non-transaction fees funds but their fee is very low. Less than $20. I don't want to limit myself with only some of the mutual funds (NTF) with fidelity. At the same time I will be paying $20 for everyfund I buy with etrade.

Is anyone familiar with this investment technique? You take out a bank loan from a country with the LOWEST interest rates (say Japan) and deposit that loan into a bank account with the HIGHEST interest rates. I have a bank account in Iceland and some of there rates are between 8-15% interest. Can i do this without leverage? Thanks
