I have never invested before and I have no idea how to begin. I've been given advice on what to invest in, now it's a matter of knowing how to do it, since it's not like going to a store, and I don't want what little I have going to middlemen.

I want to know how the shares of a company increase and decrease, what buying shares of a company does for the company, how the price of a share is determined, what a blue chip is and how a company becomes that, where my money goes after i buy a stock, what to look for to determine if the price of a stock is rising, and any other important information i should know.

Seems lke a couple of years ago I was reading about some seniors who were having a ball doing small trades- some even made a few dollars.

I keep seeing this sign (kind of whereever i go) for some Property investor who is seeking an apprentice. A friend of mine told me that was something I should look into, so i took the number down but have not called yet. i saw it again this morning comming home from work and desided to see if i could get an answer. what would i be doing, if there is a answer for that. what would you look for in hiring me as an Investor apprentice?
