We had a baby 7 months ago. My wife got a insurance about the same week that she got pregnent but we didn't know she was pregnenet...we went to see a Dr first time after a month of getting a insurance. It appears to be she was pregnenet before she had the insurance because of those stupid mechine which assumes the pregnency in Dr office.
She has precondition on her insurance plan...and the insurance is keep denying all the payments saying its pre-existing. According to her policy complications delivery are not consider as pre-exisiting and she had C-section because she couldn't deliver the baby normally. We sumbimtted that report also and they are still keep denying the payments...we are talking about around $40K total. I make $95K/year so not qualify for charity and she was a student. But I live in east cost and it's exp. here hardly save money....what should we do..we are thinking just ignore the bills..

Hi,

I'm really considering seeing a psychatist again. I'm insured by Cigna via the Healthy New York program. Would I be able to pick one from a plan and only be responsible for the co-pay? Or would I have to pay more than that? Thanks for any responses.

Noway could they make anything on collecting my house premiums of 500 annually compared to claims that may come in for $150,000 or more. That would take 300 premiums per year. and what if there were 15 other claims for 10000 because of hail or wind? just seems like a losing business unless they take the money and use it to invest? in what? the intrest rates stink.

I think I'm paying too much for my insurance with little coverage right now, so I'm checking around to see what other good health insurance companies are available to switch over.

Please give me some recommendations. Thanks.

My daughter's employer allowed domestic partner coverage on their insurance plans, so my daughter covered her boyfriend while they were living together. He still owes money on the bill. Is she responsible for payment because he used her insurance? The hospital is telling her that she is responsible.

I don't really need the insurance, yet it seems like a good way to invest in funds that grow tax free. What are the pro's and con's? Anyone out there have any experience with these?

I just started a new job on Monday, and my benefits dont kick in until May 1st. The problem is my benefits wont cover my pregnancy, cause it wil be a pre-existing condition and I wont have any health insurance to cover my pregnancy. I applied for Medicaid today, and was told...I make too much money (23k) and couldnt receive benefits. What other options do i have than just paying for the pregnancy (delivering charges out of pocket)
