my friend is majoring in business finance and im a great entertainer and an incredible people person. We already know some people to help us get started. We have the money end of it pretty much taken care of, but we need a ballpark loan amount to work with. We are not planning on owning an actual club yet we just want to rent somewere out for like two days a week, like a restaurant or something. Its been our dream for a while and we really want to go through with it. Any help or ideas are welcome.

Or is gasoline somehow sacred?

The electric car was promising, but no one would undertake setting up the necessary infrastructure.

Do you think the oil companies would allow a competitor... or would they buy out and bankrupt anyone who tries?

In the past, American business was based on honesty, hard work, truth, good products, honest living, etc. I know.....not everyone has done this but, by and large, it was the historic norm (nay sayers to the contrary). However, nowadays, USA business is based upon lies, cheat, butt kissing, theft, game playing (one of the biggest being the "be positive" game), office politics, etc. My God, no wonder people are beginning to think (wrongly so) that socialism is better (although that is silly to think). Still, American business thrives (Business 98 remedial here) on a few hard workers whom fear for their jobs daily (I was there amongst many) whilst the majority are lazy dirty dogs (employees whom steal, lie, etc. and employers whom want you to have 5 Ph.D.s, 30 yrs. experiece, an MD with Speciality and not be over 40). What has happened? I can see the deadly result of Evolutionary Capitalism (versus Bible Based living that used to be....but now decried). But, what else is it?

I am currently researching the impact of blogs, social network sites, pod casts and virtual communities on banking customer satisfaction.

Would you want your bank to offer virtual communities where you can meet fellow customers and discuss issues around finance? Would you use these kind of services?

A couple of banks are present in second life. Would you want to be a customer of an "innovative" bank, that talks to you through blogs, that has interactive websites and offers many ways of communicating?

Yahoo Answers, just for banks. Is this for you?

I was a big fan of American Coorp. and Wall Mart was one of my favourites in Sam Walton days. But these days they are dumping so much chinese goods into America and loss of American Jobs all in the name of some discounts. And there customer service has also gone down. The old saying "Customer is the king have long gone past".
Do u think Wall Mart is on the decline???

Here is are some basic definitions of marginal revenue...
-The change in total revenue that occurs when a company sells an additional unit of a product.
-the extra revenue received by a firm for selling one additional unit of a good
-Revenue generated from selling each additional unit.

So really, my question is, what is this "one additional unit"? I can't seem to grasp what it means and therefore I don't understand what marginal revenue is. Please someone help, before I go insane.
