I am very interested in the current globalization efforts by the Chinese. I'm an american citizen, living in Beijing. I think by talking with those people who helped the Japanese successfuly enter the US marketplace, that much could be learned & used in today's efforts. I'd like to interview the people that have been most influential in this effort (i.e., helping the Japanese succeed in the US marketplace). Any assitance or ideas you have are greatly appreciated.

I am doing a traveling boutique featuring children's and a few womens clothing and accessories some of which I make and some I buy. What I am trying to figure out is my sales are pretty good at the shows I've done so far but I was hoping to get outside of my friends to hold shows and have not been successful in booking new shows. What kind of incentives should I do? I offered a tiered plan based on sales some free some discounted based on $ volumn. Should I make something that is for hosts only? Any advise related to this would be helpful. Is it okay to ask the host to help? Keep in mind that I do not do a presentation--it is an open house for a couple of hours and set up like a boutique in someones living room.

Just anyone i know who's joined MLM never became rich off of it. Infact most, if not all didn't even see their investment returned 100%.

You and I have also been victims at one point of time, and we now hate anyone persuading us to join their network of users where they eventually want you sell their products or services.

After our disappointments (and I dont think existing MLM companies have good retention rate of members) why would new companies still opt to market their products this way? has anyone ever been successful at it?

"work from home! recieve $5 for every envelope stuffed with our sales material. guaranteed! free info. 24-hour recording. 1800 423 2089"

as an incoming college freshman i'd be lying if i said i wasnt totally hoping for the best. however when i called, they said to give your address after the beep and theyd mail more informtation. they also asked for a $40 dollar registry fee.
