I am in charge of finding out how our company can be first when entering keys words and I would like someone to help me to accomplish this.

It's called Yahoo Search Marketing. What happens is you register and then enter keywords where you want your business to pop up. You bid on those keywords (the price is charged to you only when someone clicks-thru directly to your site). If you have the highest bid, you are the first site, second highest you are the second site, and so forth. It is really a great way to market.

Yahoo's paid search is called Overture. Or try Google Adwords.
If you are looking for "organic" search placement, you need to have your site linked from as many other sites as possible, get traffic, clean up your meta tags and try to make sure you keep the keywords in prominent text places. It's less exact but cheaper.

You would have to pay for that option. My boyfriend runs his own business and sbc and the yellow pages are trying to get him to buy advertising including that. It is honestly costs a whole lot of money for that.
