When I was in college, I learned that my breath smelled and I wasn't as attractive as I thought. Now my breath is always fresh, and I'm a very polished women but for some reason I can't get over this reality. I keep looking back and feeling "dirty" and wonder what others thought of me back then. And I wish I could change my past. It hurts because I always though of myself as a beautiful women then. Now anytime I want to get a nice outfit or great makeup and ear rings I think that becasue of my pass, no matter how beautiful I become, it will not change the fact that I wasn't elegant at my first college. I get over other things quickly, but for some reason this won't go away.

Please give me so words of wisdom and anything else to help me realize what i feel is riduclous and illogical so perhaps I can move on with my life. Thank you..

Ok, I am starting a skin/ body care line and need help with a name. The theme is going to be the classic hollywood era 20's-50's and the names of products are going to have names that are similar to movie titles, characters, songs, etc.

I wanted to do something with the name Starlet. Please help.

I am also going to be opening a store and need help with that name as well. I am going to carry my line along with other high end brands like Laura Mercier, Frederic Fekkai, La Mer etc. I have a few ideas for the line, but not so much for the store.

Thanks for any input.

I have a dilemma. OK, so I'm eighteen and over the past month or so I have become a lot more comfortable being myself. So far my attitude has improved drastically and. I'm becoming way more feminine. But within my self-improvement and becoming woman is where the problem lies. I truly adore the 1920's - 1950's pin-up girl era. Do not misinterpret this as me being shallow, talking about clothes etc. To me it's so much more than clothes. It's almost like a way of life. There is no other way that I can put it simply than by saying . . . think of it in terms of role models. I love Dita Von Teese. I love what she does and how she looks. The way she represents that era, the style, the attitude . . . she as a person inspires me. But I'm almost terrified that no one will accept me for it. Especially where I live, some people are going to say things like "first she wants to be the black rock chick and now she's acting like Lucy ball or something." I just need some advice to stay strong.

So I am one of those women who hate wearing nail polish and despise long and fake nails (not on others...I think they look great actually....I just can't do them)! I just recently got engaged though and want to keep my nails nice (hopefully you don't think that is too silly) and would like to find a brand that is VERY chip resistant and LONG lasting. I'd like some color too for fall and winter, but am not too sure what's in. I am an engineer so I don't want to be too crazy (blue or green) as it may be inappropriate for my working atmosphere. I also don't want to change it EVERYDAY because I am wearing something different, basicially I mean I would like something to go with lots....not that I will never change it, but maybe only once a week or something. I also would like to buy this product at Target, K-Mart or WalMart or some store rather then spend 25 bucks at Macy's. So this is a lot of info, hope you ladies can help....Thanks ahead of time!!!

I've been using this soap for about a week and a half now, how long do you have to use it to see any resultS in your skin lightening? Also if you rub it on areas of your body and wait for it to get dissolved all the way in your skin and then wash it off the next day will that help your skin lighten faster?

My friend is a "punk" rock looking person.
I'm more of a "preppy" looking person.
The other day, I went with her to get her nipples pierced.
It looked extremely painful.
She has her lip pierced and is now telling me I need to pierce mine.
I have asked like 20 people if I should do it and they are always like "no it doesnt fit you."

Can a preppy looking person pull a lip ring off?

Please, serious answers only.

Also, if you know anyone with a lip ring does it scar when you take it out??

but first I wonder: how does gel hold up vs acrylic? Before I got the french tips, with acrylic alone, they were always chipping. Do gels do this? I think they look better and wonder if I should change. What are the differences? Advice?

I am like rabbits and canines in that I have multiple hairs growing out of a single pore. Needless to say, shaving has always been an issue as it causes severe irritation and doesn't quite do the job necessary. My question is: how does one treat this effectively? Electrolosis, waxing, what can make the irritation that results fromt he hair removal less? And does anyone else out there have this issue?
