I go swimming at least three times a week and my hair has become very thick I wondering if its okay to put a perm in my hair so people tell me its very damaging but im not sure if they are right. anyone who knows about african american hair is welcome to help me solve this problem

A young guy 24, suffring from hair problem. my hair r too much of dry that no any style suits me. After 10 to 15 min. of bath they became just like ..................... not eaisly manage able. Try 2 or 3 times WELLA hair straightner but didn't work.
