I am just getting into jewelry making and at this point am trying to learn on my own. I do plan on taking some classes and will be working with sterling silver, 14 k gold, vermeil and primarily semi-precious stones and some swarovski crystal. Wondering the best way to REALLY learn about gemstones as I feel that it is very important to ensure my customers are receiving top quality gems in my designs? Also, how to go about finding reputable places to buy gems? Lastly, I'd appreciate a quick overview of the rating system for gems such as AAA and does radiated, heated, dyed treatments increase/lower value? Thanks in advance for your help!

I always wear a well fitting baby tee and cute jeans with vans
my hair is usually in a messy bun (it's dark brown almost black) and I do my eye makeup as smokey

i have a silver bracelet 8 and a half inch long,quite heavy,it has 925 and has a pair of scales one at either side of the 925,it has an anchor in a box next to it,.it also has the letters "opt" up above it in a box,i would love to know the value of it ,if it is worth anything.thanx very much.

I'm a guy and I've always wanted a pair of checkered Vans slip-on shoes. However, it seems like lately a lot of girls are wearing them at school at stuff. Um... i have been shopping for like a week now, trying to find jeans. I CAN'T!! GRRRR lol a size 3 is too small yet a size 5 is too big unless its stretchy. But i don't want them to stretch, lol. I've been wearing sweat pants nd idk wut to do. =( help me!!

I found this pic (sorry it's a little fuzzy) in the Feb/March issue of Brides magazine. It says they are made by THREAD (but they cost nearly $400 online and we are NOT paying that much for a bridesmaid dress!) But I love the style and I'm sure there is something similar to it somewhere else! I have 4 bridesmaids and I want the dresses to be some shade of blue.

Do you know where I can find something like this style? I have looked at David's Bridal and online at other stores.

Any ideas of where to look or should I just have them made?
