The 925 is the amount of silver and means that it is sterling silver, the anchor is a sign confirming it is silver and I have no idea what 'opt' is but I have attached a link below which gives details on modern silver hallmarks so maybe that will have the answer. Hope this helps.

The Anchor is the Birmingham assay mark.
925 is the quality - 92.5 pure Silver.
OPT could be the Makers mark.
There should also be a letter (A, B, b, etc) mark, which would give you the date of manufacture.

925 is the rate of the silver, it indicates the item's silver amount is 92.5%. The pure silver is 99.9%. 92.5% is the good silver rate to enchase some decorative stone inside the silver.

whatever metal it is, it's purest form is 1..
925 is otherwise translated as 9.25...which means it's 925 parts silver and 75 parts other metals, totalling it up to 1...hope thats clear.
