Junior prom is march 17th and i really need to find a prom dress that is not like a million dollars!!! Does anyone know of any places in the sacramento area what would carry prom dresses?(roseville, rocklin, loomis, lincon, etc.) even second hand stores would be great! thanks bunches!

I don't have a lot of money to buy the clothes/accessories/shoes I really enjoy, so I posted on craigslist if anyone could donate Converse sneakers in decent condition they did not want anymore, any neon colored clothing, and some punk accessories. Someone flagged me for the Neon clothing but I reposted. Someone was nice enough that they will be giving me their mint condition black converse sneakers which I am pretty greatful and I do not mind hand me downs and thrift at all, so is it wrong to ask people for things they don't wear anymore or would throw away anyways?

I know how to wear heels i have been wearing them forever. But the problem is my toes always seem to slip down. It frustrates me a lot. I thought i need bigger shoes but they still do the same thing. And i dont sweat easily so I have no idea wat it could be. Is there any way i can get them to keep still. Im tired of wearing only flip flops now :(

I have a 3 stone, diamond engagement ring. Large stone in the middle with slightly smaller diamonds on each side. They are 4 prong so the sides of the diamonds touch each other. I smashed my hand against the shower door, I was trying to save the soap from falling.

Well now I have a "hairline crack" extending from the side of the large diamond into the middle. It is still one piece but it looks like a hairline crack.

What can I do? Will it stay together, do I have to replace it?

I am mid-30's, in shape, decent legs, etc. Whenever my husband & I go to a formal event, I wear a dress, because it seems the thing to do. I would LIKE to wear pants, like pretty colored pants (of course fancy, dress slacks). I actually prefer pants and a pretty shirt. Is this some sort of turn-off? Are dresses preferred?

Hi, I'm recently engaged and my Fiance and I just made the decision to marry this Fall. hooray! But I'm having trouble finding my perfect dress.

I'd like it to be a satin ballgown with very few embellishments as I want the fabric to be sumptuous.

and I'd like the back to be a corset, preferably.

I feel like I've looked everywhere. But if you can suggest some boutiques, websites, gowns, that would be wonderful.

I like some of the gowns on Aetelier Aimee, Anne Barge, and I like the satin in the Melissa Sweet dresses.

Right now I'm just trying to find the dress. I'll worry about the price later, just because I'm sure I'd be able to find it online or at a discount bridal store for less.

Also, how do you find gowns from previous seasons????

They are the hoodies that are covered with a certain thing like ALLLLL over it. Kind of like what is in the Gym Class Heroes video for "Cupid's Chokehold". They are light colored and have crazy things alllll over it. Yea...that's about the best description I can give.
