Gosh, you still doing that old fashion thing?...
I say that because it seems shops are no longer interested in stocking such things as 'Sewing threads' anymore.
You might find some on a market stall somewhere...But don't hold your breath. lol

sure, it is going to artwork. in case you decide on it to be extra straightforward to stitch with and be extra suitable then you might desire to wax it. you will possibly desire to definitely wax all hand stitching thread to make it stitch extra straightforward, facilitates to get rid of tangling. To set the wax run the iron over it, only disguise it with paper towel so wax does not bleed by.

please don't listen to "afrowoman" above me, she obviously has no idea about sewing.
if you visit your local craft store, Hancock Fabrics, or Joanne's you WILL find some there, in the "sewing notions" section.
if you don't mind ordering from the internet, hopefully these links will help you out:

get some beeswax - from haberdashery or saddlers and rub the thread through it. you could use candle wax as well, try doubling thread first.
