whats the greatest thing (Im a girl,here) to wear to a school dance.(no this is NOT prom or anything like that im in 6th grade) i need LOTS of ideas the dance is coming up.

Oh I remember 6th grade dance, they were a lot of fun!! Don't show up to dressy though wear something cute and comfy! Don't under dress either. Wear a cute shirt and jeans with ballet flats....they are easier to dance in :)

yea im a 9th grader i remember 6th grade dance. dont wear anything to dressy at all its just something fun to do. just wear like some cute pants likes jeans or a jean skirt and a cute shirt. maybe some ballet flats or any kind of cute shoes to match.
and i dont know what "banana" is talking about b/c since shes in 6th grade like yourself she probaly has not even been to a dance yet.

If it's not a ball or anything don't dress formal. Wear something like a mini denim skirt and leggings with ballet flats and a dressy shirt. You might want to fix your hair in a different style. If you seriously want the dress get a casual material and color. Short dresses are in style. Don't wear high heels. Flats are dressy enough.

im in 6th grade too. You dont want to be to dressed up so ask what your friends are wearing. Make sure to ask more than one person.
Wear something that makes you feel comfatable. If you feel like what your wearing isn't you but its in the americian eagle window you are going to be worring about your outfitt the whole dance.
Try a skirt with leggings and flats. mabey a chunky belt. be carefull of over accsesorising.
Oh, try a difrent color like red so you will stand out with out trying to hard. Don't wear a dress unless its the semi. You will feel out of place I garentee you.

here this might help if its casual nice pair of pants and shirt should do it. semi-formal like me a short nice dress should work .and if its formal ( which i dought) a floor langth really nice dress should work.i cant tell you any thing from experience our school only has 7th-8th grade dances! hope this helped! good luck!
