I just turned 40 and everything in the stores look like they were made for pre-teens. Is there a good fashion that won't make me look like I am raiding my daughter's closet? I don't want to look like a grandmother librarian either.

1.) They only make clothes for skinny people and still make them feel fat. I am a size 0. The one and only time I went to Abercrombie (with my cousin) the clothes I tried on that FIT me(fugly ones.) were 2 sizes bigger! Then we went to about 5 different stores and everything that fit me was a 0.

2.) They're RACIST. I have never seen a black, Asian, Middle Eastern, or Latino Abercrombie model. Why is this?

Also, they made some shirts with deragatory statements about Asians. One is "Two Wongs make it White".

And I didn't see ONE non-white person working there. I mean WTF, NOT ONE AND THERE WERE LIKE 10 PEOPLE IF NOT MORE WORKING THERE.

3.) It's expensive. Compare it to Aeropostale, Papaya, Body Shop, etc. And they use CHEAP SWEATSHOP LABOR to make them, so why the expensive clothes?

People at my school say that if I think that it's expensive, that I must be poor! Again, WTF!?

I am writing out this story I have, and I have all the details and I even know the ending even though I haven't wrote it out.ok my question is what should she wear, her and her boyfriend are going on this date to this fancy resturant.It is really fancy so she will need to wear a dress.She has Medium brown hair with natural copper highlights (like you can get a hint of copper when the sun strikes her hair) and her hair is a little further down then her shoulders, and it is curly/wavy and she has popping ocean blue eyes, and her skin tone is lightly tanned.Her body type is small shoulders, Medium sized breasts, narrow waste, and small hips, with a very cute butt.OK my question is, what style of dress should she wear (halter, strapless..ect) and what color would go best with her features?
